Wednesday, August 5, join Floating World Comics and author Sloane Leong for a live-streamed book release party for her new graphic novel A Map to the Sun.

After years apart, childhood friends Ren and Luna reconnect in high school, and try to rekindle their early friendship despite family strife, dropping grades, and the drama and politics on their women’s basketball team.

Leong has been self-publishing her own comics since she was 16, and has created work for companies like Image Comics, First Second, Top Cow, Cartoon Network, DC, Dark Horse, Boom!, Namco, and BuzzFeed
