Sunday, February 28, join Books with Pictures – Eugene for an online book club discussion featuring David Walker and Marcus Kwame Anderson’s The Black Panther Party!

Released last month, The Black Panther Party is a graphic examination of the oral history of the political organization founded in response to the more mainstream civil rights movement of the 1960s. The book explores the group’s varied civil support programs designed to benefit the underserved black community, and the group’s vilification and targeting by the FBI.
